Groundcode (the “Operator”) explains below how information is processed in the iPhone and Android app Weapon Simulator 3D (the “App”) and on the website weapon-simulator.com. The App is being prepared for release in the stores.
1. Summary
- There is no account, sign-in or payment, and the Operator runs no app server.
- Settings and weapon rentals are stored only on your device.
- The App includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). These SDKs may collect and process information such as IP address, device information, ad interactions, diagnostics and device identifiers (Section 3).
- On iPhone you may be asked whether to allow tracking. If you do not allow it, the App requests Google’s limited ads, and you can still use the App as usual (Section 3).
- The App does not capture photos, video or audio with the camera or microphone.
2. Information stored on your device
Your selected weapon, favorites, space, camera view, settings such as auto reload, volume, LED and haptics, and the per-weapon 24-hour rentals are stored only on your device. They are not sent to the Operator, so the Operator cannot view or delete them remotely. Deleting the App deletes them. The Android app does not use app data backup; on iOS, app data follows your system backup settings.
3. Rewarded ads (Google AdMob) and consent
A rewarded ad is shown only after you tap the watch-ad button to rent a weapon other than the AK-47 for 24 hours. There are no ads on launch, no banner ads and no interstitial ads. Showing an ad is different from requesting or loading one: while the App runs, the Google Mobile Ads SDK and the consent tool communicate with Google servers to initialize and check consent status, and the App may request and preload a rewarded ad when you select a locked weapon and the confirmation is prepared, or after an ad, so that it can be shown immediately. This communication can happen even if you never watch an ad.
According to Google’s published documentation, the ads SDK may collect and process:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of the device
- Device, operating system and app information
- Advertising data such as ad impressions, views and clicks, and product interactions such as app launches
- Crash and performance diagnostics of the SDK
- Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and app- or developer-scoped device identifiers
iOS: iOS may ask whether you allow tracking under App Tracking Transparency (ATT). Ordinary advertising tracking, including the advertising identifier (IDFA), happens only if you allow tracking and, where consent is required in your region, your consent choices also allow it. If you do not allow tracking (including when tracking is restricted, not yet decided or cannot be confirmed), the App requests Google’s limited ads and turns off the publisher first-party ID. Limited ads still involve data processing: the IP address is used to deliver ads and for security, and contextual information, diagnostics and invalid-traffic (fraud) prevention can still be processed by the Google SDK. Not allowing tracking does not stop you from using the App, and weapon rental rewards do not depend on it; as before, a rental still requires an available ad that you watch to the end. You can change tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the device settings.
Where the law requires consent, a Google UMP consent form appears before an ad is requested, and you can change that regional consent choice from the ad privacy options in the App’s settings. iOS tracking permission is changed in the device settings, not in that menu. The App does not separately send information processed by the ads SDK to any server run by the Operator. Google’s processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
4. LED flash, haptics and device permissions
The LED flash is optional and starts off at every launch. It only switches the rear torch; the App does not request camera capture permission and does not capture, record or collect photos, video or audio. LED and haptics can be turned off in Settings. The App does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts or photo permissions. The iOS app may ask whether you allow tracking (Section 3). The Android app itself declares the vibration, internet and network state permissions; the Google ads SDK adds the permission used for the advertising ID.
5. Diagnostics you share yourself
The App never sends diagnostics automatically. They are shared only when you copy them from Help or send them through the system share sheet. Diagnostics contain the app and OS version, audio state and the selected weapon and space, and no device identifier.
6. Website
This website is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. For delivery and security, access information such as IP address, request time and browser information may be processed by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Privacy Policy). The website’s own code sets no cookies and adds no visitor analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, or externally hosted fonts. Cloudflare may set its own cookies for security and bot protection.
7. Support requests and retention
If you email us, we use your email address, message and any attachments to reply. Once the request is resolved and nothing needs to be kept, we delete it without delay; where the law requires retention, we keep it only for that purpose and period. Please do not send sensitive information.
8. Third-party services and international processing
| Provider | Role | Information and method |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (Google infrastructure, including the United States) | Rewarded ads, consent management (UMP) | Information in Section 3, sent over the network by the ads SDK while the App runs; retention follows Google’s policies. |
| Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare infrastructure, including the United States) | Website delivery and security | Access information in Section 6, processed when you visit the website; retention follows Cloudflare’s policies. |
Using only the AK-47 without renting other weapons does not by itself stop the initialization, consent-check and ad preloading communication described in Section 3. Where consent is required, you can choose in the consent form and in the App’s ad privacy options; on iOS, tracking permission is chosen in the device settings. Using the App without an internet connection, for example in airplane mode, prevents this communication, and the AK-47 works without a connection.
9. Your rights and contact
You can request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information by email. We will confirm whether the information is held by the Operator and respond without delay, or explain why and what options exist if we cannot. Information stored only on your device can be removed by deleting the App.
